It also covers cost of living of EUR 12,350 for 13 months or EUR 23,750 for 25 months, health insurance during the scholarship, visa application costs of EUR 171 and pre-academic training costs of EUR 695. Who can apply
All international applicants are eligible except those from the EU or EEA. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and meet the admission requirements of the Master's program they apply for. They must be able to obtain an entry visa and residence permit for the Netherlands, be no older than 35 on 1 September 2027 and never have taken part in a degree program in the Netherlands. How to apply
Applicants first register for a participating Master's program through Studielink, which gives them a Maastricht University student number. They then use that number to complete the scholarship application form. A scholarship is awarded only if the candidate is conditionally admitted to the program. Where a program requires a handling fee, the applicant pays it by 1 February 2027, since the university's International Services Desk does not cover it.
