Overview

The Khalifa University Scholarship 2027 is a fully funded graduate scholarship at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is open to international students and UAE nationals pursuing Master's, PhD and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programmes. The university is a leading STEM and research institution in the region, known for engineering, medicine, computer science and applied research.

International applicants must select the GRTA (Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant Scholarship) option in the online application form to be considered for the full international package.

What you get

The scholarship covers 100 percent of academic tuition fees for the full length of the Master's or PhD programme. Master's students receive a monthly living stipend of AED 8,000 and PhD students AED 10,000. Awardees also receive health insurance throughout the scholarship period and financial support for attending international research conferences.

Programs and fields

In the College of Engineering, Master's programmes include chemical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering, petroleum engineering, nuclear engineering, information security, sustainable critical infrastructure, and health, safety and environmental engineering. In the College of Arts and Sciences, Master's programmes include international and civil security, applied chemistry and petroleum geoscience.

Doctoral programmes in the College of Engineering include aerospace engineering, biomedical engineering, civil infrastructure and environmental engineering, robotics and multidisciplinary engineering. The College of Medicine and Health Sciences offers the Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme under the scholarship.
