Global-MINDS MS Scholarship 2027–2029: Applications Open, Eligible Countries, Programme Costs and How to Apply
Overview
The Global-MINDS Master’s Programme is a two-year international postgraduate degree focused on the psychology of global mobility, inclusion, and diversity in society. Students gain specialist knowledge in cultural psychology, migration, social inclusion, intercultural relations, and diversity by studying across European universities. The curriculum combines academic instruction, international mobility, practical experience, and independent research. Participating institutions include ISCTE in Portugal, SWPS University in Poland, and the University of Limerick in Ireland. Students can choose between Path A, which spans Portugal and Ireland, or Path C, which spans Poland and Ireland. The second year consists of an internship worth 18 ECTS credits and a Master's thesis worth 42 ECTS credits.
Who can apply
The programme welcomes applicants from all countries without nationality-based limits on admission numbers. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree equivalent to Irish National Qualifications Framework Level 8, featuring at least a second-class honours grade of 2:2 in psychology or an equivalent qualification recognized by the admissions authorities. Applicants must also have completed at least 100 ECTS credits in psychology or demonstrate equivalent experience in psychology and research methods. Individuals with undergraduate degrees in other disciplines may be considered if they possess the necessary background in psychology and research methods. Final-year students who have not yet finished their bachelor's degree may apply by submitting proof of university enrolment, available academic transcripts, and a declaration confirming their expected graduation date, with admission remaining conditional until the completed degree certificate is submitted before enrolment. There is no age limit for applicants.
What you get
Participants receive a two-year international Master's degree upon successful completion of coursework, a professional internship, and a Master's thesis across multiple European study locations.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the academic entry prerequisites, including the required psychology and research methods background and degree equivalence. Applications must be submitted through the University of Limerick online application portal.
