George Moore Scholars Programme 2026: Scholarships for Students and Recent Graduates to Pursue a Master’s Degree Abroad
Overview
The George Moore Scholars Programme is an initiative established under The Ireland Funds to support academically talented students and recent graduates from across the island of Ireland. The programme provides financial scholarship support to help individuals pursue a master's degree at leading universities located in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other European countries.
The initiative aims to remove financial barriers associated with international postgraduate study, including tuition, accommodation, travel, and living expenses. By enabling access to advanced education abroad, the programme seeks to foster intellectual growth, professional development, and interdisciplinary thinking among participants. Scholars are encouraged to use their education to become leaders, innovators, and trailblazers capable of contributing solutions to major global challenges.
Who can apply
The programme welcomes applicants across all academic disciplines who are students or recent graduates from across the island of Ireland. Eligible candidates must demonstrate academic ability, ambition, interdisciplinary thinking, and a commitment to making a meaningful contribution in their chosen fields.
