BI Norwegian Presidential Scholarship 2027 (Funded)

Overview

The BI Presidential Scholarship 2027 is a competitive, merit-based award from BI Norwegian Business School for students entering Bachelor's and Master's programmes. It recognises exceptional academic achievement and leadership potential. Funding lasts three years for undergraduate programmes and two years for Master's programmes, matching the normal length of study.

A total of 30 scholarships are awarded, 20 for international students and 10 for domestic applicants. The scholarships are available across business-related fields, and the school grants only one scholarship per student.

Who can apply

The scholarship is open to both international students and Norwegian citizens who are applying for admission to a BI programme. Candidates are judged on their academic record and need to explain in writing why they deserve the award.

Eligible study areas include business, strategic marketing management, leadership and organisational psychology, finance, quantitative finance, business analytics, applied economics, entrepreneurship and innovation, the QTEM Masters Network, the BI-Luiss Joint Masters in Marketing, accounting and auditing (taught in Norwegian), and law and business (taught in Norwegian). Business is now also offered at the Bergen campus.

What you get

For international students, the scholarship covers the full cost of tuition and adds a monthly scholarship payment for each semester, for up to 2 years in a Master's programme or up to 3 years in a Bachelor's programme. Norwegian students receive a scholarship covering semester fees for up to two years.

How to apply

Applications are made online. Candidates complete the admission application and upload a scholarship application letter of no more than one page to the online portal. The letter should explain why the applicant deserves the scholarship and how their academic record qualifies them.
