Overview

Youth-ID, short for Youth Inclusive Design, is an Erasmus+ project that helps young people take part in designing youth-friendly and inclusive communities. It is inviting youth workers and youth professionals to join its Network of Multipliers, who guide young participants through the project's learning activities. The programme lasts 12 months and combines inclusive design principles, participatory planning, community engagement, youth leadership, policy advocacy and international collaboration.

The journey begins with a two-day international training in Strasbourg, France, on participatory design, intersectionality, inclusive planning, facilitation and mentoring. Multipliers then help organize and lead national seminars of 12 to 15 hours in their home countries, with Belgium, France, Italy, Poland, Cyprus and North Macedonia listed as eligible countries. Each Multiplier mentors a local group of 10 to 15 young people through community mapping simulations, participatory budgeting exercises, problem identification and solution development, and supports Design Labs where ideas become community projects, prototypes, local policy recommendations and policy briefs for local authorities. Multipliers also accompany youth representatives to a three-day Youth Exchange in Poland and an EU Advocacy Marathon in Brussels, and the programme ends with local showcase events and a transnational online fair.

What you get

Participants receive expert training, international mobility to activities such as those in Strasbourg and Brussels, access to the Youth-ID Digital Handbook, collaboration platforms and mentoring tools, networking with professionals across Europe and a YouthPass Certificate recognizing the skills gained.
