Applications are now open for Cohort 3 of the Yale Teaching Fellowship, an intensive graduate education and teacher-preparation initiative designed to build a strong, diverse and long-term teaching workforce for New Haven Public Schools in Connecticut, United States.

- The program is already producing cohorts of classroom-ready educators. Yale reported in August 2026 that the first cohort of 20 fellows had completed its preparation year and that the second cohort included 18 participants: eight in special education, six in science and four in mathematics.
- For Master of Arts in Teaching programs, the SCSU 2026–2027 graduate catalogue lists a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, or a recognized foreign equivalent, with a total undergraduate GPA of at least 2.70.
