Work Remotely With Hispanic Access Foundation: Grant Portfolio Manager (Forestry) Role Paying Up to $85,000 Per Year

Hispanic Access Foundation, a national nonprofit founded in 2010 that connects Latino communities with opportunities that improve quality of life and promote equity, is hiring a Grant Portfolio Manager for its Forestry Program. The position is full-time and fully remote within the United States, with occasional travel. The Forestry Program manages about $4 million a year in pass-through grants that expand urban forests, increase tree canopy and widen access to green spaces in underserved communities.
Reporting to the Forestry Program Director, the manager oversees a portfolio of forestry subawards through their full lifecycle, from execution and monitoring to reporting and closeout, while keeping performance strong and compliant with federal regulations. Duties include managing subaward agreements, conducting risk assessments and due diligence, reviewing budgets and scopes of work, monitoring implementation and reporting, supporting compliance with 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance and audit readiness, preparing portfolio reports and dashboards, building relationships with grantees and partners and coordinating webinars, meetings and trainings. The manager also gives technical assistance to community-based and faith-based organisations new to federal funding, helping them understand requirements, navigate reimbursement and strengthen reporting.
Requirements
Applicants need a bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, public administration, finance or a related field, or equivalent experience, and at least three years of experience managing grants, subawards or federal funding. Experience with 2 CFR 200, supporting organisations new to federal grants and strong analytical, organisational and communication skills are expected. Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Experience with Salesforce or a similar grant management system is preferred.
What you get
