UNESCO Senior Evaluator Consultancy – Evaluation of the Information for All Programme: Apply By 16 October 2026
Overview
The UNESCO Evaluation Office is seeking a qualified senior evaluator to conduct an independent evaluation of UNESCO's Information for All Programme. This assessment covers the period from 2007 to 2026 to coincide with the programme's 25th anniversary. The review will examine the programme's overall performance, governance mechanisms, and contributions to sustainable development and equitable access to information, while offering strategic recommendations for its future direction. The final evaluation findings are scheduled to be completed by March 2027 in order to be presented at the 16th session of the IFAP Intergovernmental Council in May 2027.
Requirements
This position is designed for experienced evaluation professionals who possess strong capabilities in conducting complex institutional and programme-level assessments. Suitable candidates should demonstrate expertise in programme and policy evaluation, institutional assessment, international development, multilateral programmes, governance, and evaluation methodology. Applicants are expected to have the ability to analyze implementation, organizational performance, results, and sustainability.
