The Nature Conservancy South Africa Supplier Prequalification 2027–2028

Overview

The Nature Conservancy in South Africa invites eligible companies, organisations, and individuals to apply for its Supplier Prequalification Programme covering the years 2027 and 2028. The initiative aims to establish a pool of qualified suppliers to deliver goods, works, and services to support the international conservation organisation across 27 operational categories. These categories span a wide range of industries including accommodation, consultancy, information technology, transport, insurance, printing, catering, environmental services, and office supplies. Current suppliers and contractors must also submit applications to be considered for this prequalification period. Inclusion in the supplier pool does not guarantee a contract or purchase order, as all procurement remains subject to the organisation's internal procedures.

Requirements

Applicants must prove their eligibility to provide the specific goods, works, or services they are applying for. Required supporting documentation includes a valid business registration certificate, a business licence where applicable, regulatory or accreditation certificates from relevant professional bodies, and a tax identification number. Submissions must also feature certified copies of the applicant's latest audited financial statements, a physical business address, details of relevant past experience, and client references from organisations that have received the applicant's services within the last three years. Applicants must review category-specific conditions using the official bidder response form.

Interested suppliers must request the official bidder response form and detailed information by sending an email to africa.tenders@tnc.org. The subject line of the request must include the appropriate tender reference number and category description. Enquiries or requests for technical assistance during the preparation process should be sent to the same email address with the word ENQUIRIES in the subject line. Completed applications must be submitted in accordance with the process specified by the organisation on or before the stated deadline.
