TD Securities Women at TD 2026–2027 University Mentorship Program for Undergraduate Women in Canada
Overview
The TD Securities Women at TD University Mentorship Program 2026-2027 is a six-month career development and mentorship programme for undergraduate women in Canada who want to explore capital markets. It is run by the TD Securities Women at TD committee. TD Securities is the capital markets division of TD Bank, working in areas such as investment banking, corporate banking, interest rate, currency and derivative products, and debt and equity underwriting. The programme runs from about October 2026 to April 2027 and is career exploration rather than a paid job. Participation does not guarantee future employment.
What you get
Each mentee is matched with a TD Securities mentor, who may be a woman or a man, for one-on-one guidance. Other benefits include group events that may include meeting professionals from different product groups and touring the trading floor, networking with TD Securities staff and other students, possible job shadowing across groups, career advice on academic choices, extracurriculars, internships and co-op positions, and a look at TD's workplace culture. The programme can also familiarise students with future summer co-op and post-graduate opportunities.
Who can apply
Applicants must be in the first or second year of undergraduate study at a Canadian university, graduating in Spring 2028 or Spring 2029. They must identify as women, including transgender women, and have a genuine interest in a capital markets career and in TD Securities. Roughly 10 to 15 first-year students and 15 to 20 second-year students will be accepted.
Requirements
Participants confirm availability for two one-on-one mentorship sessions and one group event each month. The formal mentoring ends after six months, though mentors and mentees are encouraged to stay in touch.
