Overview
SSE is hiring an Innovation Reporting Analyst for the Innovation team within SSEN Transmission, job number 559182. The permanent, full-time role is based in Perth, Scotland, and is newly created. SSEN Transmission owns and operates the electricity transmission network across the north of Scotland.
The analyst becomes a key owner of the innovation reporting and data platform, making innovation data accurate, consistent and useful to business leaders. Duties include producing reports, dashboards and insights on portfolio performance, risks and trends, working with project teams to improve data quality, setting consistent reporting standards, tracking and evidencing the benefits of innovation projects, finding ways to improve data collection and reporting, and supporting the development of innovation processes.
Requirements
SSE wants experience managing and analysing data through reporting systems, dashboards or business intelligence tools, with Power BI particularly relevant. Applicants should show analytical and data analysis skills, reporting and dashboard experience, data-quality management, data governance experience, knowledge of assurance processes, communication and stakeholder-management skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. The ability to turn complex data into clear information for different audiences is important.

The salary is 36,200 to 54,400 pounds per year, plus a performance-related bonus.
