Programs & Operations Manager at The Many Brains Project: Remote U.S. Opportunity Paying Up to $95,000
Overview
The Many Brains Project, a nonprofit advancing cognitive and behavioral science through digital assessment tools, scientific infrastructure and open research resources, is hiring a Programs & Operations Manager. It develops the TestMyBrain platform and the TestMyBrain Digital Lab, and is technology lead for the Open Measurement Network Initiative for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias. The job is full-time and fully remote for candidates based in the United States, with Eastern Time preferred. Because the team is small and growing, the manager has considerable ownership and autonomy.
What you will do
Duties span three areas. In research programmes and partnerships, the manager helps run research studies from first enquiry to completion, coordinating timelines, deliverables, communications and documentation and acting as a key contact for researchers and partners. In public resources and communications, they maintain educational and research resources, coordinate website updates, prepare announcements and newsletters and help with conference materials. In operations, they build internal workflows, keep documentation, support grant reporting and compliance, coordinate vendors and contractors, assist with board activities and manage records.
Requirements
Applicants need a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus at least four years of relevant experience in areas such as programme or project management, research administration, nonprofit operations or technology project management. They should have managed complex projects independently from planning to completion, communicate well with technical and non-technical people and handle shifting priorities. Experience with research projects involving software, digital tools or data collection systems is an advantage. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship and be available during core hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time.
What you get
The salary is about US$75,000 to $95,000 per year.
