Overview

Databricks is recruiting Associate Product Managers for its 2027 new graduate cohort, with positions based in Belgrade, Amsterdam and Berlin. The company runs a data and AI infrastructure platform used by more than 20,000 organisations worldwide, and graduates can be placed in any of its product areas, including AI Platform, Genie, Machine Learning, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, ETL, Streaming and EDA.

The work centres on understanding customers' hardest problems and shaping workable solutions. New product managers prototype and test early ideas with customers and engineers before a team commits to building, work alongside engineers and designers to ship features, and own a project from design through launch and later iteration, keeping scale, quality and security in mind from the start.

Who can apply

Candidates should be graduating in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related engineering field, or be pursuing such a degree.

Requirements

Applicants should have used AI tools both for personal productivity and for development projects, and should have some first-hand experience with SQL and/or Python. The employer looks for people who learn by doing, who build, test and iterate toward an answer, and who use analytical skills to make data-driven decisions, for example by analysing product usage.

Clear communication matters as well: the role involves making complex topics simple and explaining nuance to engineers, customers and field teams in writing and in conversation. Curiosity, comfort with ambiguous problems and a collaborative approach are also listed as important.

What you get

Members of the 2027 APM cohort have a dedicated manager and a mentor, and they connect with product managers, engineers, designers, account teams, other interns and leaders from across the company. Databricks also describes a package of benefits that varies by region.
