Overview

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD), which operates under the Digital India Programme, is recruiting professionals under Phase III of its Capacity Building Scheme. Vacancies are open for Head SeMT (State e-Mission Team), Senior Consultant and Consultant. The posts are intended to strengthen digital governance across General and Hardship Area States and Union Territories in India, and to support the Government of India's Digital India initiatives and better public service delivery.

NeGD works with ministries, state governments and other public institutions through capacity building, technical assistance, policy support and digital innovation. Depending on the post, selected candidates may support Digital India programme implementation, advise government departments on digital transformation, manage e-governance projects, develop technology-driven public service solutions, coordinate with state and central stakeholders, monitor project performance, and provide technical and strategic consulting. Policy execution and programme management support are also part of the work.
