Overview

Mayfield Homecare Services is recruiting Home Care Assistants in Warrington, UK. The work is shift-based on a zero-hours contract and pays 12.71 to 13.50 pounds per hour, plus a fuel allowance of 45p per mile. Mayfield is a family-run provider that has supported people in Warrington for more than 36 years, and some staff have been with it for over 20 years.

Assistants support people in their own homes with personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting, meal preparation, medication support, light housekeeping including cleaning, laundry and shopping, and companionship and emotional support. The care service runs seven days a week, with shifts between about 6:30am and 11:00pm, and patterns vary with client needs and the rota.

Who can apply

Previous care experience is not required, since full training is provided. Mayfield wants kind, considerate, reliable and empathetic people with good people skills who can work in a team. Applicants need the right to work in the UK without sponsorship, as visa sponsorship is not available.
