Mandela Rhodes Foundation Announces 2026 Äänit Prize for African Social Impact Innovators (up to USD 100,000 in funding)

The Mandela Rhodes Foundation has officially announced the 2026 edition of the prestigious Äänit Prize, a social impact funding initiative designed to support innovative African entrepreneurs and changemakers creating solutions for some of the continent’s most pressing challenges. The competition, which is open exclusively to Mandela Rhodes Scholarship alumni and Rhodes Scholarship alumni from 2005 onwards, will provide up to USD 100,000 in funding annually to between one and four winners.
