LGF Launches LIT-Uganda Female STEM Student Teachers’ Scholarship to Strengthen Education Workforce 2026

The Luigi Giussani Foundation (LGF) has introduced the LIT-Uganda Program Female STEM Student Teachers’ Scholarship, a large-scale education support initiative aimed at increasing the number of qualified female science teachers in Uganda. The programme forms part of the broader Leaders in Teaching Uganda initiative, a five-year Mastercard Foundation programme designed to transform secondary education through improved teacher quality, equity, and innovation.
