Overview

The School of English in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Sheffield is inviting candidates to hold a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship with the school. The faculty has four schools and studies human society and culture, past, present and future, along with cultures, languages, ideas, texts, artefacts and landscapes.

The School of English will support one applicant in the current round of Leverhulme Early Career Fellowships. Applicants with a proven research record and high-quality proposals are chosen on how well they fit the Leverhulme Trust's expectations and the school and faculty priorities. Fellows complete a significant piece of publishable work and carry out a programme of high-quality research in line with their Leverhulme project proposal.
