Overview

The LEGO Group is offering a paid 12-month internship in its Employee Engagement and Analytics team in London, starting in January 2027. It is meant for students currently enrolled in higher education or an equivalent training programme who want to use data and research to understand employee experience and help make LEGO a better place to work. The company describes the role as becoming a data detective.

The position is full time at 37.5 hours per week, with a hybrid arrangement designed to fit around studies. Preferably, the intern is in the London Hub about three days a week. The salary will be discussed during the interview process.

What you get

The intern gains experience across employee research, survey methodology, reporting, people analytics and artificial intelligence, along with exposure to senior stakeholders.

Duties include analysing employee survey data for patterns and insights, building PowerPoint presentations that present findings clearly to senior stakeholders, and conducting academic research to support the validity of survey methods used across People, Places and Culture. The intern also helps maintain employee surveys and dashboards in Qualtrics, supports small-scale AI practices such as building a prompt library, and creates simple branding and marketing materials to raise awareness of the survey portfolio.

Who can apply

Applicants must be enrolled students, aged 18 or older, with the right to work in the UK for the whole internship.

Requirements

The team looks for strong analytical skills and an interest in using data to tell a meaningful story. Applicants should be very familiar with Excel and have experience with R or Python for data preparation and analysis. Qualtrics is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot is considered relevant.

Key dates

The deadline is September 25, 2026, although applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. The internship begins in January 2027.
