Overview

An opening is available for a Lecturer Make-Up and Hair Design in a maternity cover role within the Fashion Image cluster at the Epsom School of Creative Business Fashion and Enterprise, which is part of the Fashion and Textiles Pathway. The position is based at the Epsom campus, though occasional work at other campuses may be required. The appointee will help shape the BA Honours Make-Up and Hair Design course, contribute to the teaching provision and research environment, and serve as year lead.

Duties encompass all related course administration, proactive development of new learning and teaching methods, participation in marketing and student recruitment activities, and potential engagement in professional research within the subject area.

The position offers a salary of £41,064 per annum pro rata, with the actual salary for this position amounting to £24,638.40 per annum. The contract is offered on a part-time, fixed-term basis as maternity cover.
