Junior Product Validation

Overview

Farfetch is hiring a Junior Product Validation specialist on a temporary contract in its Production Planning department in Guimaraes, Portugal. The role ensures that product information collected through various processes is accurate and reliable. The main work is online research: finding identical items across sources and maintaining, adding or creating accurate product details in internal systems, spotting inconsistencies and extracting critical details.

What you will do

The specialist analyses, creates or edits information for items arriving in production according to company guidelines, identifies similar products across several sources, and verifies product information by cross-referencing them. This includes comparing attributes such as name, description and other specifications to decide whether items are the same or different, investigating and resolving discrepancies while documenting issues and informing stakeholders, registering and monitoring data quality on the internal platform, and analysing product defects to identify the actions needed to fix them.

Requirements

One or more years of experience in e-commerce, sales or a related field is a plus. The role calls for intermediate Excel skills, strong attention to detail with the ability to spot patterns and anomalies, the ability to prioritise and multitask without lowering quality, the ability to learn new tools quickly, and advanced IT and English skills.
