Junior Maintenance Engineer

Overview

HelloFresh is seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer to join the Supply Chain Management & Operations department located in Derby, England, United Kingdom. The role is based at Smart parc, Spondon, Derby and involves working a Suez Shift Pattern of rotating days and nights from 0600-1800 and 1800-0600. The position requires a commitment to safety and involves fixing, maintaining, and improving on-site equipment to ensure continuous functionality.

Requirements

Applicants must have the independent right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available. Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering field is preferred, alongside knowledge of automated systems and PLC controls, experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, and basic computer skills with familiarity in CMMS or similar systems. Candidates must also be proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, flexible to work shifts and weekends, and possess strong communication and health and safety commitments.
