Junior Analytics Engineer

Overview

Farfetch is seeking a Junior Analytics Engineer for its Platform Operations department. The position is based at the company office near Porto, in the north of Portugal. In this role, reporting to the Data and Analytics Manager, the selected candidate will tackle complex data challenges, work with multiple tools, and build scalable and innovative data solutions to help the FintechOps department make informed decisions.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree alongside a minimum of two years of relevant experience, though equivalent combinations of education and experience are also considered. Required qualifications include proficiency in SQL, such as SQL Server or BigQuery, experience with data visualization tools like Looker, PowerBI, or Tableau, and advanced communication skills in both written and oral English. Candidates must also be detail-oriented with a focus on data quality, capable of working autonomously, and familiar with Python or R as an asset.
