Overview

The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (CCF) is hiring a full-time, remote Research Grants Manager to oversee its research grant programs and sponsored projects. Cholangiocarcinoma is a rare and aggressive form of bile duct cancer, and CCF, founded in 2006, is the only U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated exclusively to people affected by it, working in patient support, education, advocacy and research funding. The Foundation operates entirely virtually and works with researchers, clinicians, caregivers and patients worldwide. The position is open to candidates residing in the United States.

The manager guides grants from application through project completion, ensuring compliance, tracking research outcomes and supporting investigators. Duties include managing the annual grants calendar and deadlines, coordinating scientific review panels and reviewer schedules, supporting applicants, preparing award documents and grant agreements, managing sponsored project contracts and subaward agreements, tracking milestones and reporting requirements, keeping records in Proposal Central, preparing reports for leadership, donors and research teams, and writing standard operating procedures.

Requirements

Applicants need a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, previous grants administration experience, strong project management and organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a virtual environment. Experience with Proposal Central, Asana or Raiser's Edge is an advantage.

What you get

The salary is $62,000 to $68,000 depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, employer-paid life and disability insurance, generous paid time off, Summer Fridays, a paid Winter Break, a 401(k) plan, fully remote work and occasional travel to organizational events.

How to apply

Candidates email an updated resume, a cover letter that includes the position name and their salary requirements. Both a resume and a cover letter are required for every application.
