IOCAFRICA Ocean–Climate Working Group 2026: Call for African Experts in Ocean and Climate Action

The IOCAFRICA has officially opened applications for its new Ocean–Climate Working Group, a strategic initiative designed to strengthen Africa’s leadership, science, and policy engagement at the ocean–climate nexus. As climate change increasingly affects marine ecosystems, coastal communities, and livelihoods across Africa, this working group aims to provide expert support to African Member States in advancing ocean-based climate solutions and regional coordination.
