Impact Collective Seeks a Managing Director for a High-Impact Remote Leadership Role | Earn $170,000–$210,000 Per Year

Impact Collective is a founder-led nonprofit working to close the racial wealth gap by engaging wealthy individuals to align their wealth with economic justice, through education, community-building and philanthropy. Having proven its model, it is expanding across the Bay Area and Boston and strengthening its internal operations. It is recruiting a full-time Managing Director, reporting to the Executive Director, to oversee operations, strategic planning, program delivery, finance and team management.
The role is fully remote but requires regular travel for board meetings, team gatherings, partner engagement, fundraising and program delivery, roughly monthly with more during busy periods. Responsibilities include partnering on strategic priorities, leading cross-functional teams across programs, operations, communications and finance, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, staff development and performance management, strengthening systems, managing relationships with fiscal sponsors, consultants and partners, coordinating annual planning, budgeting and financial oversight, supporting board communications and governance, and building capacity for future expansion.
Who can apply
The organization seeks significant senior leadership experience in nonprofit or mission-driven settings, strong people management and organizational development skills, experience across operations, finance, HR and strategic planning, excellent communication and relationship-building, a demonstrated commitment to racial and economic justice, experience leading growth and change, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Familiarity with Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, Neon CRM and LearnWorlds is an advantage. The position is remote within the U.S., and candidates based in the Bay Area or Boston are preferred.
What you get
The annual salary is $170,000 to $210,000.
