Overview

The International Labour Organization is recruiting a Project Support Assistant at grade G4 in Pristina, Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244). The vacancy number is DC/PRISTINA/GS/2026/01 and the job ID is 13762. The assistant reports to the Senior Programme Officer in the ILO Pristina Duty Station.

What you get

The entry-level salary for external candidates is 18,764 EUR per year, at the first step of the grade.

What the role involves

Duties include drafting standard correspondence and formatting documents, answering project queries, providing office and logistical support for meetings, seminars and workshops, updating project websites and databases, maintaining records, arranging official travel and mission documents, and compiling financial data. The assistant also processes transactions in IRIS such as contracts, travel requests and purchase orders, arranges payments and allowances for resource persons, and carries out market research for project procurement.

Requirements

Applicants need secondary school education and at least three years of general office management and clerical support experience, with experience assisting procurement of infrastructure equipment for public institutions considered an asset. Excellent English and good working knowledge of Albanian are required, along with proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Reader, strong organization, attention to detail and client service skills.
