ICT GRC - Junior Associate
Overview
The ICT GRC team at N26 is seeking a Junior Associate to join the Risk department in Berlin, Germany. This role focuses on managing IT risks, coordinating audit preparations, executing IT control tests, and handling third-party risk management and vendor assessments. Team members work collaboratively in a hybrid environment alongside risk and compliance professionals to support the digital banking platform.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a completed Bachelor or Master degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field. Candidates need one to two years of relevant work experience, which can include robust internships or working student roles in information security, IT risk management, IT audit, or compliance, preferably within the financial services or banking industry. A foundational understanding of enterprise IT concepts and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, DORA, and GDPR is required.
Additional qualifications include strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with proficiency in data management tools like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Experience with GRC tools such as OneTrust and issue tracking software like JIRA and Confluence is preferred. Candidates should possess professional fluency in English, with German considered a plus. Professional certifications like CRISC, CISA, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Implementer are advantageous.
