Heinrich Böll Foundation Launches Global Majority AI Fellowship 2026 to Strengthen Inclusion in UN AI Governance

The Heinrich Böll Foundation Washington, DC has announced a new Global Majority AI Fellowship aimed at increasing participation of civil society experts from the Global South in global artificial intelligence governance discussions. The initiative is designed to support participation in the first session of the United Nations Global Dialogue on AI Governance, scheduled to take place in Geneva, Switzerland on July 6–7, 2026.
