The Youth and Artisans Skills Innovation Foundation (YASIF) has launched a free digital skills training programme in Nigeria for 2026. It is aimed at youth and women and combines digital literacy, green economy skills and workplace employability training, with the goal of improving employability, encouraging entrepreneurship and building local economic resilience. The curriculum rests on three pillars. Digital skills training covers fundamental digital literacy, including operating systems, cloud productivity suites such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and online research; basic data organization, spreadsheets and record-keeping; and an introduction to online marketing, social media management for small businesses and content creation.
The green skills pillar covers sustainable business practices and green energy solutions, using digital technologies to monitor and reduce environmental footprints in local trades and businesses, and spotting opportunities in the emerging green economy.
The employability pillar covers resume writing, professional branding and interview preparation, workplace communication, teamwork and emotional intelligence, and basic financial literacy, budgeting and small business management.

Applicants must be Nigerian citizens living in Nigeria. The programme places strong emphasis on empowering youth and women, including marginalized youth and young entrepreneurs.
Requirements
No prior experience or technical background is needed, and the programme is suitable for complete beginners as well as people upgrading existing entry-level digital skills.
