The The Leakey Foundation has continued to advance its mission of supporting scientific research into human origins through the Francis H. Brown African Scholarship. The funding initiative is designed to strengthen capacity in earth sciences and botany across East Africa while supporting graduate students and postdoctoral researchers engaged in field-based scientific study.
