Equality Now is recruiting a Manager, Training, Equal Justice Academy, a fully remote position. Equality Now is an international human rights organization founded in 1992 to protect and promote the rights of women and girls, working toward a world where women and men enjoy equal rights under the law. It has a multicultural team of more than 80 professionals in places including Benin, Beirut, London, Geneva, San Jose, El Salvador, Argentina, Nairobi, Tbilisi, New York and Washington, DC.
The role belongs to the Equal Justice Academy, a learning and capacity-building platform that supports legal professionals, advocates, institutions and partners working on gender equality and justice. The Manager, Training supports these learning initiatives and helps deliver the training programmes that strengthen the implementation of legal protections for women and girls.
About the organization's work
Equality Now combines legal advocacy, research, strategic litigation, public campaigns, partnerships and policy engagement. Its campaigns cover four areas: legal equality, ending sexual violence, ending harmful practices and ending sexual exploitation, with a cross-cutting commitment to adolescent girls. It works with governments, civil society organizations, legal professionals, activists and communities to remove discriminatory laws and practices.
