Earthshot Hiring Senior Forest Carbon Analyst (2026 Remote) – Lead Global Nature-Based Climate Solutions

Its offerings include AI-powered land management tools, REDD+ project development resources, land-cover mapping, natural risk modelling and digital infrastructure for carbon project management. The company is hiring a Senior Forest Carbon Analyst for a full-time, fully remote position open to professionals globally.
The analyst supports the full lifecycle of Improved Forest Management (IFM) carbon projects, from planning and design through monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) and long-term implementation. The role involves working with scientists, project developers, conservation specialists and international clients to make sure projects meet recognised carbon standards.
What you will do
Responsibilities include developing IFM projects, setting project boundaries and forest inventories, running forest carbon assessments, supporting carbon quantification and preparing technical documentation. On the MRV side, the analyst designs monitoring workflows, coordinates inventory updates, supports emissions calculations, prepares verification documents, liaises with auditors and standards representatives and joins field verification. The role also provides technical guidance to internal teams and partners, and involves client work such as reports, presentations, proposals, meetings and webinars with landowners and partners.
Requirements
Applicants need at least three years of experience delivering IFM carbon projects, experience managing projects across the United States and or Canada, knowledge of the complete carbon project lifecycle, experience supporting validation and verification, experience working with forest owners and land managers, and strong technical writing and communication skills. Expertise in forest carbon inventory design, carbon quantification, MRV, carbon standards interpretation and forest management practices is expected. Familiarity with Forest Vegetation Simulator (FVS) and Woodstock modelling software is an advantage.
Key dates
