Overview
DataSpring is hiring a Senior Research Analyst for its Insights team. The position is full-time, exempt and fully remote within the United States, with a salary of $120,000 to $150,000 per year. The analyst reports to the Sr. Director, Insights and works with Marketing, Product, Business and other teams.
The Insights team runs research that supports thought leadership, product insights, marketing campaigns, leadership presentations and internal decisions. DataSpring describes itself as a healthcare data connector with more than 25 years of experience in the U.S. healthcare industry, with over 4.8 million provider data records and member data covering roughly 75% of covered lives.
What you will do
The analyst manages research projects from concept to publication, including scoping, work plans, timelines and the annual Index. That covers designing and fielding surveys, writing questionnaires, choosing sampling and analysis methods, coordinating fieldwork, managing external vendors and monitoring response rates and data quality. The analyst cleans, validates and analyzes survey and healthcare data to find trends, segment differences and year-over-year changes, then writes reports, issue briefs and PowerPoint presentations for internal and sometimes external audiences. The role also turns strategic priorities into research plans and tracks healthcare industry trends and policy developments.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in healthcare policy, healthcare research, healthcare administration, public health or a related field is required, and a master's degree is preferred. Applicants need six years of related healthcare industry experience with a bachelor's degree, or four years with a master's. Experience managing survey-based research projects from design through reporting is required. Strong writing, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are needed, and Qualtrics knowledge helps.
