CHS Alliance Announces Engagement and Communications Opportunities in 2026

Overview

The CHS Alliance is a global alliance of humanitarian and development organisations committed to improving the quality and accountability of aid through the Core Humanitarian Standard, and has more than 300 member organisations. It has two roles focused on engagement and communications: Head of Engagement (Membership and Communications) and Communication and Content Officer.

The Head of Engagement is a senior post providing leadership, strategic direction and operational oversight of the engagement and communications portfolio. The postholder builds a coherent membership journey linking onboarding, structured learning, shared learning networks and communications, works with teams responsible for CHS verification, country cooperatives, training, communities of practice and PSEAH-related services, strengthens engagement with the global membership and raises the Alliance's visibility on accountability, developing it into a credible voice and amplifier, particularly in the Global South.

The Communication and Content Officer is a delivery-focused role working with the Head of Engagement. It covers producing communications content, social media materials and newsletter content, managing day-to-day website content, supporting member communications and engagement, providing administrative and logistical assistance, and keeping members, partners and stakeholders informed.
