Overview

BWF Zuri, a fundraising consulting firm for the nonprofit sector, is hiring a Content Specialist for its marketing team in a full-time remote role. The firm was established in 2026 by combining Bentz, Whaley, Flessner and Associates with Zuri Group. The annual salary is $55,000 to $65,000 plus potential bonus, with a full benefits package. Despite being remote, the job is not worldwide: applicants must live in one of the states where BWF Zuri currently has employees, which are Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.

The specialist works with the Digital Marketing Manager and Event Specialist to keep the editorial calendar and produce blogs, articles, client spotlights, case studies, webinar content, white papers, videos, email campaigns, social posts, website updates, newsletters and collateral. Other tasks include working with consultants and subject matter experts, proofreading, scheduling LinkedIn content and monitoring engagement, applying basic SEO, promoting webinars and events, maintaining shared asset libraries, supporting workflow tools and industry research, and keeping materials consistent with the brand.

Requirements

Applicants need a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or a related field and 2 to 4 years of experience in content marketing, communications or digital marketing. Required skills include exceptional writing, editing and proofreading, LinkedIn and B2B social media experience, basic SEO, project management, handling multiple deadlines, Microsoft Office and familiarity with collaborative tools. Preferred skills include email marketing platforms, CMS tools, webinar support, Canva or Adobe, and experience in nonprofits, higher education, healthcare or professional services.

What you get

Benefits include paid holidays, paid time off, volunteer time off, a 401(k) with employer contribution, medical, dental and vision insurance, HSA and FSA options, employer-paid life insurance, disability insurance and long-term care insurance.

How to apply

Candidates submit a resume and cover letter. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the post is filled, and people who do not meet every requirement are still encouraged to apply.
