Phaselaw is a seed-stage company building an AI-native eDiscovery platform for in-house legal and privacy teams. Its software helps organizations save thousands of hours on document review and redaction through intelligent automation, and it already works with some of the world's largest organizations. The company is hiring a Product Engineer for a fully remote role open to people anywhere in the world, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer.
The position carries a high level of ownership. The engineer builds across the whole technology stack, creates reliable and intuitive frontend experiences, and works closely with the CTO and cross-functional colleagues. Responsibilities include building and improving product features, developing scalable software, turning customer needs into technical solutions, contributing to product strategy and engineering decisions, improving performance, reliability and usability, and taking projects from concept to implementation.
Requirements
Phaselaw wants an engineer who combines strong technical skills with good product judgment. The ideal candidate has experience building modern software applications, strong frontend skills, the ability to work across the full stack, an understanding of user experience and product design, and the ability to build products that are both functional and pleasant to use. Problem-solving ability, attention to detail, the capacity to work independently at pace in a remote setting and an interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are also expected.
