BRAC USA Individual Philanthropy Intern 2026: Paid Hybrid Internship in New York for Students and Early-Career Professionals
Overview
BRAC USA, the North American affiliate of the international development organization BRAC, is hiring an Individual Philanthropy Intern in New York City. BRAC has worked for more than 50 years on poverty reduction, education, healthcare, women's empowerment, economic development, climate resilience and humanitarian response, and BRAC USA raises awareness and philanthropic resources for that work as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The intern reports to the Senior Associate of the Individual Philanthropy Team and supports donor engagement, campaigns, prospect research, database management and administration.
Tasks include entering and cleaning donor data in Salesforce, drafting and proofreading gift acknowledgments, researching donor prospects and preparing briefing and stewardship materials for major gifts, supporting virtual and in-person events, helping with the year-end fundraising campaign through proofreading, printing and mailing, and special projects.
What you get
The internship pays US$17.00 per hour, with a guarantee of at least the highest applicable minimum wage. It is part time at up to 15 hours per week and hybrid, with at least one day a week in the New York office. It lasts about 15 weeks, expected to begin in late September or early October 2026 with a flexible start date. Academic credit may be possible where permitted.
