Mercy Corps Ventures’ Humanitarian Venture Lab has launched the world’s first-of-its-kind Anticipatory Action Accelerator. This initiative, building on recent Anticipatory Action (AA) pilots completed in Kenya and Nepal, will partner with startups, NGOs, and more to usher in a new era of humanitarian aid, leveraging innovations in tech such as climate data analytics, AI/ML, and crypto payment rails. - Mercy Corps Ventures (MCV) is the impact investment arm of Mercy Corps, an international development agency (501c3) operating in over 40 countries around the world. MCV has made 50+ equity investments at the intersection of climate resilience and innovative tech to improve the lives of low-income people in emerging markets.

The Venture Lab has screened more than 1,000 proposals, launched over 20 solutions and deployed more than $3M in funding, positively impacting the lives of more than 40,000 people.
