African Development Bank Internship Program 2027 – Session 1 : Paid Internship Opportunities Across Africa
Overview
The African Development Bank Internship Program 2027 Session 1 provides master’s degree students and recent graduates with practical professional experience. Selected participants work within the African Development Bank as well as its regional and country offices, either remotely or on-site depending on the hiring unit. The duration of the program ranges from three to six months.
Who can apply
Applicants must be nationals of African Development Bank member countries and not older than thirty years of age at the start of the program, while having reached the age of majority in their country of origin. Candidates need to be currently enrolled in a master’s degree program at a recognized educational institution or apply within one year of earning such a degree. Proficiency in either English or French is required, alongside skills in standard software packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, with knowledge of SAP considered desirable.
What you get
Participants receive a monthly stipend and medical insurance coverage provided by the bank for the duration of the internship. The bank also makes reasonable efforts to assist interns in securing entry and residence visas when necessary.
Requirements
Selected interns performing their duties on-site are responsible for their own upkeep and air travel to and from the bank's location. Remote interns must supply a personal computer, a stable internet connection, and an environment suitable for uninterrupted work. Applicants are required to submit either a confirmation letter of enrollment from their school or a copy of their master's degree, and they must be selected competitively based on the business needs of the bank.
