The Academy in Exile (AiE) is now accepting applications for five 12-month residential fellowships for scholars at risk, to be hosted at TU Dortmund University and the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities (KWI) in Essen, Germany. These fellowships offer a critical lifeline for researchers in the humanities, social sciences, or law who face persecution, threats, or displacement due to their academic work or civic engagement in areas such as human rights, democracy, and academic freedom.
