7th CODESRIA/ZASB Summer School in African Studies

The Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA) and the Centre for African Studies in Basel (ZASB) are hosting the 7th Summer School in African Studies and Area Studies in Africa. This edition, supported by the Oumou Dilly Foundation, will take place in Dakar, Senegal from 20–24 July 2026. Applications are open to doctoral students and early-career scholars from African and Swiss universities, with a submission deadline of 1 May 2026.
