14th Edition of the UNESCO Youth Forum: Empowering Young Leaders for Climate Action and Social Impact

On 27–28 October 2025, the city of Samarkand, Uzbekistan, will welcome approximately 150 youth leaders from over 140 countries for the 14th edition of the UNESCO Youth Forum. Taking place just ahead of UNESCO’s General Conference, the Forum will convene under the theme: “Climate Action and Social Impacts, Particularly for Young People.” This theme reflects a growing global consensus—driven in large part by youth voices—that climate action must be immediate, inclusive, and transformative.
