The 100x Impact funding opportunity seeks ambitious organisations addressing important social or environmental challenges with the potential to improve the lives of hundreds of millions or even billions of people. The programme targets future social unicorns that are close to the communities they serve and have demonstrated solutions capable of achieving significant scale and broader systemic transformation.

Who can apply

Applicants must be impact-first ventures focused on solving a significant problem within one of 100x's eight Impact Areas. Organisations must present a proven solution with evidence of performance, a capable team, an ambition for scale, and a clear understanding of their end-user reach. The programme aims to have 70 percent of its portfolio come from emerging markets and values applications where founders or senior team members are based in the region where the organisation operates.

What you get

Selected ventures receive £150,000 in catalytic funding to strengthen their pathway to scale and increase their impact. Participants enter into a long-term partnership with 100x starting with a tailored 16-week programme that helps organizations develop funding strategies, improve impact measurement, strengthen leadership, and prepare for growth. Additional benefits include research expertise from the London School of Economics, connections to a global network of advisers, funders, partners, and peer organisations, and the potential for future follow-on funding depending on fit and availability.

Requirements

Applicants are evaluated based on the significance of the problem they address, the clarity of their proposition, evidence of their past performance, the capabilities of their leadership and team, and a credible pathway to scale. Organisations must also demonstrate 100x additionality by showing how the provided funding, strategic support, research expertise, networks, and partnership will make a meaningful difference to their operations.
