WRI Enterprise Systems Intern 2026: INR 25,000 Monthly Stipend in India
Overview
The World Resources Institute (WRI) is offering a part-time Enterprise Systems Intern position in New Delhi, Mumbai or Bangalore, India (job requisition 2026-JR100452). The internship follows an Office Flex hybrid arrangement and pays a stipend of INR 25,000 per month. The intern joins WRI's IT function and supports enterprise applications, with Workday as the core platform for Human Resources, Finance and Payroll.
What you will do
About 40 percent of the work is system support and operations: day-to-day Workday support, data validation, report reviews, reconciliations, audits, data clean-up, mass updates, tracking tickets and user requests, keeping documentation and knowledge articles, and assisting with release testing and dashboard checks.
About 30 percent is business analysis, including documenting HR, Finance and Payroll processes, gathering requirements from stakeholders, creating process maps, SOPs and user guides, taking part in User Acceptance Testing and contributing to process improvement.
The final 30 percent is technical analysis and integrations, such as analyzing Workday integrations and data flows, validating inbound and outbound interfaces, documenting field mappings and technical specifications, working with XML, JSON and APIs, and helping with defect tracking and root-cause analysis.
Who can apply
WRI seeks people currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree, for example B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Com, computer science, information systems or business analytics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, clear written and spoken communication, attention to detail, organization and comfort in a structured, process-driven setting are expected. Preferred extras include exposure to Workday, ERP, HRIS or enterprise applications, strong Excel skills, basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, XML or JSON, and familiarity with HR, finance or payroll operations.
