Overview

The Web Engineer Intern position is a practical internship focused on day-to-day product development within the Product Engineering, Data, SRE/Security department. Interns work on real features reaching actual customers, handling tasks ranging from UI changes to broader features using React. The role involves collaborating across disciplines with product, design, and various engineering teams, navigating the complete feature lifecycle from requirements and building to quality assurance, release, and follow-up.

Who can apply

Applicants should be studying computer science or a related technical field, ideally pursuing Master 2 or an engineering degree, though strong Master 1 profiles are also considered. Candidates need web foundations in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, which can be demonstrated through school or personal projects. Basic knowledge of Git, proactive communication skills, and fluency in English are required. Participants must also be willing to use AI while understanding and verifying its output.

What you get

Selected interns receive hands-on mentoring from experienced web engineers, with Susana Prado López serving as mentor, along with progressive responsibility starting from small tickets to a wider scope. The compensation and benefit perks include a hybrid work arrangement allowing work from home up to two days a week, a gym membership partnership via Gympass, a lunch card with 50 percent coverage, and half the cost of a public transportation pass covered. Additional benefits comprise one paid day off per month, snacks, beverages, and team events within an inclusive environment.

Requirements

The position is based on a hybrid schedule located in Berlin, Paris, or Barcelona, starting in January 2027. Because the work centers on day-to-day product development rather than a dedicated thesis project, applicants must verify that the role fits their school requirements.
