Barrio Life offers an internship opportunity focused on online marketing within the travel industry, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The position involves working within the online marketing team on campaigns related to tailored travel experiences in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. Interns participate in brainstorming sessions, create content, and handle various digital promotional tasks with personal guidance and increasing responsibility over time.

Who can apply

Applicants should be enrolled in a relevant higher education program at the hbo or wo level, focusing on fields such as marketing, communications, media, or tourism. Candidates need to be comfortable speaking and writing well in Dutch, capable of working accurately, and able to take initiative and switch tasks quickly. Familiarity with online tools and social media trends is expected.

Requirements

The role requires working on-site from the company office in Amsterdam. Daily responsibilities include boosting social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook through creative posts and videos, writing content for blogs, newsletters, and the website, working on search engine optimization, creating and optimizing landing pages, and analyzing website and social media statistics.
