Overview

Databricks is offering Software Engineering Internships in London for its 2027 intern cohort. The company builds a data and AI platform used by more than 20,000 organisations worldwide, and interns join a team of engineers working on features that go directly into that platform. Teams cover full stack, backend, infrastructure, systems, tools, cloud, databases and customer-facing products.

Interns have a dedicated mentor and meet engineers, other interns and company leaders. Their work includes building features with a team, managing a project from design through code and feedback, and learning how to build a platform that scales quickly while keeping quality and security high.

Who can apply

The internship suits students who will graduate between Autumn 2027 and Summer 2028 with a degree in computer science, engineering or a related subject. It is a 12-week summer internship. Co-op placements are open only to students enrolled in a co-op programme.

Requirements

Applicants need implementation skills in a general purpose programming language such as Python, Java or C++, along with good knowledge of algorithms, data structures and object-oriented programming principles.
