Software Engineer, Internship - Sovereign AI Systems

Overview

Palantir offers a software engineering internship focused on Sovereign AI Systems, based in London, United Kingdom. The internship provides an opportunity to build production software that enhances how AI systems are deployed, operated, evaluated, and monitored in customer-controlled environments. Interns work on infrastructure for agentic workflows, design services and developer tools, and collaborate with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to solve operational problems.

Who can apply

Applicants must currently be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a similar technical field. Candidates are required to demonstrate an interest in AI systems and agentic applications, have experience coding in languages such as Java, Python, C++, Go, Rust, JavaScript, or similar, and possess familiarity with data structures, algorithms, systems programming, backend services, cloud infrastructure, or distributed systems. Participants must also be able to work full-time for the duration of the program. Having an active US Security clearance, or the eligibility and willingness to obtain one, is considered beneficial but is not a requirement.
